JSC Mosmetrostroy is the largest Russian company of the metro construction and other transport facilities, performs works of any scale and complexity on a "turnkey" in various engineering-geological and restrained urban conditions. Mosmetrostroy was established in 1931 and laid the basis for domestic metro system development. The first line of the Moscow Metro constructed in record time and put into operation on May 15, 1935.
In 85 years, Moscow Metrostroy constructed 186 metro stations, more than 600 km main line tunnels driven, and road junctions and highways with the total length more than 30 km. Moscow Mosmetrostroy was awarded for outstanding service with Order of Lenin, Order of the October Revolution, Order of the Red Banner of Labour and Order of Peoples' Friendship. Nowadays, Mosmetrostroy is one of the largest companies in Russia with the total headcount of over 14 thousand.
